Course Introduction

The course follows the philosophy of connecting everything to improve the quality of life. It emphasizes the implementation of IoT systems centered around microcontrollers. The course will introduce various devices and technologies used in IoT systems, including information sensors, devices, gateways, and servers. These components can collect real-time data on sound, light, heat, force, electricity, and location from any object or process that needs monitoring, connection, or interaction. Through various network accesses, these systems enable information sharing among objects, generating useful data for intelligent perception, identification, and management of items and processes. Focusing on intelligent interconnected terminal products and front-end interaction and visual design tasks, students will learn to design and develop IoT intelligent products as the main technical chain in the new era. The course addresses issues like enhancing consumer life quality and electronic product design in the dual carbon era. Students will conceptualize control and linkage scenarios for smart interconnected products, helping them fully understand the IoT ecosystem and apply technology to innovate product design.
