Course Introduction

This course is an advanced design practice course for students who want to develop their expertise in “Data Intelligence and Service Design” module. It is a project-based course and will be taught by multiple teachers collaboratively. In this course, students will explore innovative design solutions to real design issues from current information and service industry. External design experts or enterprise representatives will be invited to lecture in the course. At the end of the course, a finial work show will be arranged to exhibit the design outputs of students. Under the supervision and instruction of teachers, students will experience a standard “double diamond” design process, master variant design methods and tools, and develop his/her expertise in the topic design field as well as the capability of discovering, defining, developing, and delivering prepared for the graduation project and future design research and practice.
