Course Introduction
This course is a professional elective course for industrial design students. Mainly covers the theoretical basis of inclusive design, user research methods, design principles and practical applications, design concept representation and evaluation, etc. Students need to understand the definition, history and development of inclusive design, understand the needs and challenges of different user groups, master the principles of inclusive design and their application in product design, interaction design, service design and other fields, and be able to flexibly apply these principles to innovative design. Through this course, students will learn how to conduct effective user research, acquire the ability to solve inclusive problems in design, exercise and improve cross-cultural communication and teamwork skills, and cultivate a sense of social responsibility and humanistic care.
