Course Introduction

Since the end of the 20th century, with the rapid development of digital science and technology, dynamic graphics (motion   Graphic, a new visual art form combining technology and art, came into being and flourished. As a product of the digital age, there are still differences in the definition of dynamic graphics in academic circles. But leaving aside the media attribute, from the perspective of visual communication alone, dynamic graphics can be defined as "images that change shape with the flow of time". It is a dynamic form of graphics in the time dimension and a new form of visual design with multiple sensory experience. From the definition of dynamic graphics, we can see that its essential core is graphic design. It is a new paradigm of the combination of traditional graphic design and digital media technology. It is the continuation and innovation of graphic thinking in the contemporary communication environment. Therefore, dynamic graphic design follows and inherits the principles and thinking of traditional graphic design in design principle, but uses technical means to add the concepts of dynamics and timeline, showing a unique appearance. We can use such a formula to compare: motion   Graphic = graphic + motion + time therefore, graphic design, dynamic design and time design constitute the three main lines and basic elements of dynamic graphic design research. Dynamic graphics jump out of static two-dimensional space. The concepts of motion and time extend it to three-dimensional or four-dimensional level. The characteristics of various visual changes and multi-dimensional free and nonlinear expression make it widely used in interaction design, interface design, new media design, film and television titles, channel packaging, spatial display design and other fields. The wide application makes the demand for talents in this field rise day by day. Therefore, dynamic graphic design has become a core basic course of digital media art specialty
