Course Introduction
This course serves the national strategy of rural revitalization and focuses on "three rural issues". The course primarily explores a new endogenous rural revitalization design based on rural resource endowment and participation of multiple stakeholders. It pays attention to the diverse Chinese rural culture and ecological value in different regional cultural contexts. Oriented by the learning, inheritance, and innovative design of rural resources, and attracted by the diversity of regional cultures, students are encouraged to go deep into the grassroots level. The course aims to address the "insufficient and unbalanced" issues such as "precision poverty alleviation and rural revitalization" in China. It follows the path of "rural resources - design reconstruction - widespread participation - endogenous development", and cultivates students' comprehensive and collaborative innovation abilities to discover, understand, and solve social problems through theoretical teaching and field practice. The course supports the balanced development of production, living, and ecology in the process of rural revitalization and explores a path of rural revitalization design that meets the requirements of the new era.
