Course Name: Human-Computer Interaction Design
Course Code: ZH105SJ24
Course Credit: 3
Course Type: Professional Core Course
Applicable Major: Industrial Design and Product Design
Course Introduction
The primary objective of the design is to build a bridge between technology and human life scenarios and to establish interfaces and channels for interaction between humans and artificial objects. The main goal of the course is to master the elements of interaction design and the design methods of interaction patterns for different human-computer interaction channels, and to cultivate students' technical, experiential, and capabilities in solving complex design problems using design methods and principles. The course pays special attention to exploring, experimenting with, and establishing new possibilities for human-computer interaction on the premise of integrating science and art, and at the level of integrating aesthetics and technology—this includes aspects of physicality, graphics, sound, and the body. The course constructs a project-based design environment for learning through design practice. Interaction prototype design and development, as well as user research, run throughout the entire process of the course.
